The Game of Thrones Season 6 trailer promises violence this season. You can bet that at least one major character won’t make it to Season 7. Will your favorite survive?
Davos
The best line in the trailer comes from Ser Davos at the end. “I’ve never been much of a fighter. Apologies for what you’re about to see.” But if Davos is fighting, then that means he could also be dying.
Ellaria
I would not want to be Ellaria in Season 6. She killed Jaime and Cersei’s daughter Myrcella at the end of Season 5, and you know they’re going to be after some serious revenge.
Gregore Clegane
Gregore Clegane, aka The Mountain, is back in Season 6 and is ready for some bloodshed. He is back to being Cersei’s (Lena Headey) right-hand man, but how long will that last?
The High Sparrow
Like Ellaria, the High Sparrow has managed to get on Cersei’s bad side, and that is definitely a precarious place to be.
Ser Jorah
Ser Jorah ended last season with a bad case of grayscale, which means he might not be long for the Game of Thrones world in Season 6.
Lancel
Not only did Lancel make a mistake by joining the Faith of the Seven, he joined and then decided to spill all his dirty secrets about Cersei. When will these people learn to stop messing with Cersei and her family?
Margaery
Will the High Sparrow and the Faith of the Seven forgive Margaery, or is she destined for a fate worse than Cersei’s?
Daenerys
Daenerys (Emilia Clark) has been captured by a large khalasar and looks rather defeated in the trailer. Where are her dragons when she needs them most?
Melisandre
Now that Stannis is dead, Melisandre’s fate hangs in the balance, and not even taking her top off for the sake of her God of Light can save her this time, if the trailer is any indication.
Petyr
Now that Sansa has escaped the Boltons with Theon by her side, Petyr’s purpose on the show may be complete.
Ramsay
Ramsay is worse than Joffrey, and more than the show suggesting he’s going to die, I just really want him to go away for good.
Roose
Similar to Ramsay, Roose still hasn’t paid for killing Robb Stark.
Theon
In the trailer, Theon’s head can be seen being pushed underwater. Is that the end for poor Reek? Surprisingly, I hope not. He really redeemed himself last season.
Tommen
Tommen is Cersei’s only child left, but being king doesn’t bode well for longevity.
