Season 4 of Orange Is the New Black isn’t until June 17, which obviously can’t come soon enough for those of us dying to see what’s shakin’ at Litchfield with our favorite felons. But at least that gives us time to mull over what’s to come — especially in light of these newly released photos that hint at major drama.
Hey, look — the beds are back
All of the mattresses got torched last season (bed bugs, blech), but looks like they got an upgrade: bunks!
Say hello to Litchfield’s latest residents
I spy with my little eye several unfamiliar faces. In fact, the prison looks overrun with new inmates, which spells trouble.
Wait, are these two friends now?
Have Red and Gloria finally buried the hatchet (and not in each other)? It sure looks cozy in that kitchen.
Alex is A-OK
It seemed certain Aydin was going to kill Alex the greenhouse at the end of Season 3, yet here she is.
Piper has seriously pissed someone off
Well, Piper kind of does that a lot. But this time, it has clearly put her in imminent physical danger.
Piper’s problem may be cultural
Netflix has hinted Litchfield experiences an “unprecedented culture war” this season. Could Piper be the catalyst?
Judy King apparently adjusted well
Judy King the domestic queen was distraught at drop-off but looks happy now beside her biggest fan, Poussey.
There will be dining hall drama
WTH is everyone so somber about here? It could be telling that Blanca and Piper are positioned in the center.
Pennsatucky and Boo are still besties
Hell, yeah! Their friendship was a total highlight last season, so it’s nice to see they’re still on the ins.
Taystee isn’t playing games
Taystee assumed more of a leadership role last season, and it looks as though she’s still just as assertive.
The struggle continues for Sophia
Oh, Sophia. The good news is she may have been released from SHU. The bad news is she still looks miserable.
