Sure, you know that Lisa Rinna has a skepticism of Lyme disease and will chuck a glass at your head if you say anything about her husband, but how much do you really know about the star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? From her random Bravo gal pals to her (crazy!) paychecks, here are seven Lisa Rinna facts that will knock your fancy stilettos off.
She posed for ‘Playboy’ when pregnant
When Rinna was six months pregnant, she graced the cover of Playboy, looking absolutely gorgeous. Apparently, the shoot wasn’t easy for her, though. She revealed that the photographer told her, “I do not want you long and sinewy and angular and muscular. I want you soft.” Rinna didn’t love these directions. “This was really hard for me because being 35 years old and posing for Playboy, you want to amp it up,” she told People. Rinna posed again in May 2009.
She owned a clothing store
Rinna and her husband Harry Hamlin owned a clothing store, Belle Gray, in Studio City, California, for a few years. Sadly, though, they had to close the doors on the boutique in 2012 because sales weren’t great, and they were both too busy with their acting careers to manage the store. #hollywoodproblems
She’s comfortable admitting to Botox
Unlike many Hollywood celebrities, Rinna is fine admitting she’s gone under the needle. In addition to confessing to getting silicon in her lips, Rinna has admitted to being a card-carrying fan of Botox.
She and Hamlin appeared in ‘Veronica Mars’
Rinna and Hamlin played a married couple during the first season of Veronica Mars. A superstar, Hollywood married couple, to be exact. Definitely a case of art imitating life.
She made how much for that Depends commercial?
You know how everyone mocked Rinna for doing that Depends commercial a few years ago? Yeah, well, it made her $2 million, so…
She’s friends with Caroline Stanbury
Holy Bravo crossover alert! Lisa Rinna and Ladies of London star Caroline Stanbury are friends? Amazing!
She wrote a sex book
Does your love life need a little help? Invite Lisa Rinna into your bedroom. Well, not really, but Rinna penned a sex-tips book called The Big, Fun, Sexy Sex Book, which promises to get you from “no-go to the Big O.” Hey now!
