Fox’s mystery drama pairs together two non-fictional 20th century celebrities — renowned escape artist Harry Houdini and Sherlock Holmes creator Arthur Conan Doyle — to “grudgingly join forces with New Scotland Yard to investigate unsolved and inexplicable crimes with a supernatural slant,” according to Fox.
Houdini & Doyle premieres Monday, May 2 on Fox.
‘Lady Dynamite’
Inspired by comedian Maria Bamford’s life, Lady Dynamite tells “the story of a woman who loses — and then finds — her shit,” according to Netflix.
Lady Dynamite is available on Netflix May 20.

‘American Gothic’
CBS’ new series revolves around a prominent Boston family reeling in the wake of the chilling discovery that someone in their midst is linked to an infamous string of murders. “As shocking secrets from the past and present are revealed, their mounting suspicion and paranoia that one of them is a killer threatens to tear the family apart,” according to CBS.
American Gothic premieres Wednesday, June 22 at 10/9c on CBS.
‘Roadies’
This Showtime comedy created, written, directed and produced by Cameron Crowe chronicles the adventures of a tight-knit group of roadies who are die-hard music fans. It stars Luke Wilson and Carla Gugino.

‘Vice Principals’
Danny McBride marks his triumphant return to HBO with Vice Principals, a dark comedy about two administrators vying for the top spot as principal at a local high school. The show is created by McBride and Jody Hill, the same minds who brought us Eastbound & Down.

‘Dirk Gently’
Elijah Wood will star in BBC America’s eight-episode adaptation of Dirk Gently, based on the popular novel Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, by Doctor Who author Douglas Adams, according to TVLine.
The comedic thriller is set to premiere in the fall of 2016, according to BBC America’s website.
Untitled #TatumTakeover project
In the wake of the smash-hit Jenna Dewan Tatum/Channing Tatum Lip Sync Battle takeover, NBC announced they had given a six-episode order to a new dance competition show produced by the Tatums. Channing is scheduled to appear on the program and Jenna will serve as a judge and mentor, according to Deadline.
No final premiere date or title for the power couple’s project quite yet.
