Brown claims he had sex with a ghost

In a recent interview on 20/20 with Robin Roberts, Brown said he spills the details of a ghostly encounter in Every Little Step.

“I bought this mansion in Georgia… this was a really, really spooky place,” Brown said. “But yes, one time, I woke up, and yeah, a ghost. I was being mounted by a ghost… I wasn’t high,” he added. “I was not trippin’.” 

The Jackson siblings were really, really close

Naturally, Brown and Michael Jackson become close back in the day when they were both huge pop stars. Brown spent some time at the Jackson family home in Encino, California, where he claims to have witnessed some borderline inappropriate behavior between Michael and the Jackson sisters.

“Michael loved playing jokes on people, so he kept running through the house and smacking his sisters on the ass,” Brown wrote in his memoir, via Radar Online. Brown obviously took note of the behavior, but that’s not to say he was complaining about it, either.

“I don’t even know why he thought it was funny to slap his sisters on the ass, but I was certainly enjoying it, too!”

Things were pretty steamy with him and Janet Jackson

Before he got together with Whitney Houston, Brown was hot and heavy with Janet Jackson.

“We were young, horny, and extremely taken with each other,” he wrote.

Whitney Houston was bisexual

In his memoir, Brown claims that Houston was bisexual and was in love with Robyn Crawford, her assistant and creative director who she had been friends with since she was a teenager. Houston reportedly kept the romance secret because she feared her family would not condone a same-sex relationship.

“I really feel that if Robyn was accepted into Whitney’s life, Whitney would still be alive today,” Brown said in a recent interview with Us Weekly. “She didn’t have close friends with her anymore.”

He admits to hitting Houston

In the 20/20 interview, Brown also spoke of an incident he details in Every Little Step, involving a violent moment he had with his then-wife, Houston.

Brown says he struck Houston in a moment of weakness while he was trying to maintain his sobriety, but insists that he is not a violent man and reports of him being a “woman beater” are lies.

“I’ve never been a violent man toward a woman, ever,” he said in the interview. 

His drugs of choice were intense

Though Brown insists that he is clean and sober now, he reveals in his book that he was using some pretty major substances back in the day. His drugs of choice were cocaine, alcohol and crack-laced joints when he was using, according to his book.

Drugs were done with Bobbi Kristina around

In the 20/20 interview, while speaking about his book, Brown also admitted that he and Houston would lock themselves in a wing of their house to get high, while nannies cared for their daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, in the other room.

“I always made it a point to not let her see me or my wife in that type of situation,” he said. “It’s hard when you’re doing it every day; it’s really hard.” 

He thinks he could have done more for Bobbi Kristina

“We could have been better. We should have been better,” Brown says of his and Houston’s drug use and involving Bobbi Kristina while she was growing up.

“The last few years of our marriage, it was terrible,” he added. “Both of us trying to be clean, or one of us trying to be clean… it was terrible.” 

He hasn’t visited Bobbi Kristina’s grave yet

Bobbi Kristina’s funeral was over 10 months ago, but Brown has yet to visit his daughter’s grave.

“I’m not yet ready to stand there, alive and functioning, knowing my baby’s body is under a pile of dirt,” Brown writes in Every Little Step. “Lifeless. Gone.”

He was unfairly branded as the bad boy

Sources have come forward to say that Brown did not influence Houston to do drugs. In fact, it was the other way around, Brown’s friends allege, according to The Daily Beast, and the synopsis of his memoir bolsters the claims.

“When he married the most celebrated singer in the world at the time, pop princess Whitney Houston, he began a life under a microscope. The couple’s every move was tracked, and jaw-dropping stories were told about drug addiction, physical violence and worse, with Brown always cast as the villain,” Brown’s book reads. “Forever branded, Brown was trapped in a spiral of rage against the media and drug addiction, fighting for the will to get himself clean and keep his family together.”
