Kylie Jenner and Tyga have one of the most talked-about romances ever, and one of the most controversial, too (given that Jenner was only 17 when they are believed to have first got together), but these two just can’t seem to stay away from each other.
Take a long, hard look at their relationship timeline, because Jenner and Tyga may just be one celeb couple in it for the long haul.
17th birthday bash
The first time we spotted Kylie Jenner and Tyga getting cozy was back in August of 2014, for Jenner’s 17th birthday.
Although we didn’t know that they would one day go on to become a couple, the pair was seen partying together, with Tyga even jumping the gun by four years and offering Jenner a shot of tequila.
Relationship rumors
Then in September of 2014, Tyga tried to put an end to the relationship rumors with a tweet. He wrote, “Dont believe the rumors, been friends with the family forever. Were all just friends.”Not that anyone actually believed him, because only a month later they were looking pretty cozy, celebrating Halloween.
Drake’s dis
In February of 2015, Drake’s lyrics sent everyone into a frenzy because they appeared to confirm that Tyga was in fact much more than just friends with Jenner. Drake’s track, “6PM in New York” included the lyric, “You need to act your age and not your girl’s age.”
Amber Rose weighs in
Amber Rose also got in on the action when she commented on Tyga’s breakup from baby mama Blac Chyna (who is now part of the family because she’s engaged to Rob Kardashian).Speaking to The Breakfast Club in February of 2016, Rose said, “[He] should be ashamed of himself. That’s how I feel. For sure… He has a beautiful woman and a baby and left that for a 16-year-old who just turned 17. Like, nah.”Days later, Tyga denied that he left his family to be with Jenner, calling the claim ridiculous.
Instagram tribute
In March of 2015, Tyga basically told everyone he was actually dating Jenner after all, by posting this picture. He captioned it with, “Certain things catch your eye, but only few capture the heart.”
Birthday tribute
After almost a year of speculation and relationship rumors, Jenner and Tyga made their relationship official after Jenner’s 18th birthday on Aug. 10. Tyga celebrated her birthday with this picture, along with a tribute on Instagram “to the dopest girl.”
‘Stimulated’ video
Tyga also dropped his track “Stimulated” in August of 2015, which many believe to be about him having sex with Jenner (and she appears in the music video).
Plus, the lyrics are pretty raunchy and include, “They say she young, I should’ve waited / She’s a big girl, dog when she stimulated.”
Splitsville
In November of 2015, rumors about a breakup began to swirl, with TMZ reporting that Jenner ditched Tyga because of “something Tyga did.”Jenner responded to the rumors only days later during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, and she made it clear that there was no truth to those rumors.
Pregnancy rumors
The couple has dealt with a lot of rumors about their relationship, including the one that Jenner was reportedly pregnant with Tyga’s baby.
She addressed the rumors that she’s pregnant with a tweet in November of 2015, writing, “They’ve been saying I’m pregnant for one year now… One year. Let’s get it together lol.”
Engaged?
Christmas last year was a pretty big moment for Jenner and Tyga, because he gifted her a diamond ring, sparking engagement rumors — but as far as we know, that hasn’t happened yet.
Infidelity
But in January of 2016, things soured for the couple after infidelity reports surfaced. According to Us Weekly, Tyga cheated on Jenner with Brazilian model Annalu Cardoso.
“He would text her and ask how she was doing, casual conversation. Then he started asking her to send pics and to meet up,” an insider told the publication. “They hooked up a couple of times, but for the most part they would just hang out.”
Date night
In the same month, Tyga and Jenner squashed any rumors of trouble in paradise when they were spotted enjoying a date night at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood.
Solo at the Met Gala
In May of 2016, the couple was rumored to have broken up for good after Kylie was spotted without her man at the Met Gala, and according to TMZ, they did not part on good terms.
Drama to blame
After the couple split, there were rumors as to the reasons for the breakup, with a source telling E! News that their relationship drama “takes its toll,” while a second source revealed that “their relationship is complicated.”
Back together
All signs point to the fact that Jenner and Tyga have once again rekindled their romance, and there’s photo evidence to prove as much, including Jenner’s recent Snapchat picture, which shows her and Tyga getting cozy in a photo booth on Monday, June 27, for her sister Khloé’s 32nd birthday.
Moving in
There are also reports from People magazine claiming that Jenner has invited Tyga to move in to her new Hidden Hills home — so for now, we think it’s safe to say these two are once again an item.
