From charity tours to Vegas shows, the winners of America’s Got Talent have gone on to accomplish great things.
Bianca Ryan
It took some convincing for then-11-year-old Bianca Ryan to audition for America’s Got Talent, as she was intimidated by all the jugglers, magicians and other impressive contestants. However, Ryan proved that an amazing voice will always make viewers sit up and take notice. Her post-AGT career has included the release of a self-titled album and multiple holiday EPs. More recently, she used Kickstarter to fund a music video featuring Dance Moms star Chloe Lukasiak.
Terry Fator
Ventriloquist and impressionist Terry Fator appeared multiple times at the Las Vegas Hilton following his Season 2 win. He also appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show alongside Simon Cowell, who referred to him as one of the planet’s two most talented people. In 2013, he celebrated a huge landmark — his 1,000th show at The Mirage Hotel & Casino.
Neal E. Boyd
Neal E. Boyd released his debut album on the same day as the Season 4 America’s Got Talent premiere. He’s kept busy in the political sphere, performing at numerous functions in Missouri and even running for the Missouri House of Representatives in 2012.
Kevin Skinner
Kevin Skinner has largely remained out of the public eye since winning America’s Got Talent, although he did release his debut album on Saint Patrick’s Day in 2010. His reluctance to appear in public has been largely attributed to mental health issues. He briefly went missing in 2014 but was found safe by the Kentucky State Police.
Michael Grimm
Yet another in a long line of singing victors on America’s Got Talent, Michael Grimm has enjoyed moderate success, touring extensively in support of his new albumGrimm. He used his America’s Got Talent winnings to purchase a home for his grandparents, who lost their home to Hurricane Katrina.
Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr.
Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. briefly headlined a show at Caesars Palace and did very well on Amazon with his album That’s Life. He published the book America’s Got Talent Winner Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr.: From Washing Cars to Hollywood Star in 2013.
Olate Dogs
Richard Olate and his adorable pups have done well for themselves since winning America’s Got Talent. The group released a Christmas album in 2013 and made its movie debut at the Sonoma International Film Festival. They continue to tour extensively and have even launched a Holiday Rescue Tour.
Kenichi Ebina
When he’s not posing alongside Tape Face, Kenichi Ebina is busy tweaking his iPhone app Dance-ish Me and performing at L.A. Dodgers games. He continues to book short solo performances and longer one-man shows.
Mat Franco
The only magician to win America’s Got Talent, Mat Franco headlined a show at the LINQ Hotel & Casino in 2015. Additionally, he appeared in a two-hour TV special that aired on NBC.
Paul Zerdin
Paul Zerdin recently kicked off his residency at Sin City Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. His big goal now is to score celebrity guest appearances from Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez at his live show.
