With Season 3 of Fear the Walking Dead returning, fans are eager to see who’ll succumb to the now-rampant infection turning the world into walkers. Why? Well, because this show has yet to live up to its predecessor, The Walking Dead, and we’re all ready to cull a few more characters. Here are the most memorable deaths of the series so far, as well as a few deaths we honestly hope to see coming.
Mrs. Tran (dead)
Poor Mrs. Tran turned into a walker and, in the process, made an apocalyptic believer of Madison.
Griselda (dead)
A foot injury led to amputation, sepsis and subsequently death for the Salazar matriarch.
Liza (dead)
In what is possibly the saddest death so far, Liza begged Travis to kill her before she turned (and he did).
Melissa Geary (dead)
Gah, this entire family was tragic! Melissa died when her walker-fied daughter took a bite out of her.
Thomas (dead)
After everything Strand went through to get to his love, Thomas wound up infected. *tears*
Reed (dead)
Reed was a total tool, so no one was really sad when Chris lost his temper and shot the guy.
Connor (dead)
Tbh, Connor totally deserved his comeuppance… even if it was being eaten by his zombie bro.
Celia (dead)
Celia’s wacky theories about the undead led Madison to lock her up in a den of walkers to die.
Jake (dead)
Alex mercy-killed fellow Flight 462 survivor Jake after Strand cut their life raft loose.
Alejandro (dead)
La Colonia’s leader, Alejandro, hid his infection until he succumbed to it (and Madison stabbed him).
Chris (dead)
Chris was becoming quite the sociopath before being murdered by his traveling companion, Brandon.
Brandon & Derek (dead)
After confessing Chris’ death, Brandon and Derek met a grisly fate at the hands (and feet) of Travis.
Ilene (still alive)
Stabbing Strand in the stomach is a major party foul and should be punishable by death.
Madison (still alive)
Madison got mildly more interesting last season, but she makes too many ridiculous decisions.
Travis (still alive)
Not even Cliff Curtis’ phenomenal acting can save the often sullen Travis. Fans are dunzo with this dad.
