Since the first star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was laid in 1960, this sidewalk in Los Angeles has become the most famous in the world. Every year, new stars are added — and this year, a whopping 30 celebrities will have doled out $40,000 each for the honor (that’s right, they have to buy their way in!).
The 2017 ceremonies take place throughout the year, often with only about a week’s notice ahead of time, but they are open to the public, so if you’re in the area, you can pop in.
Criss Angel managed to conjure up a star this year. Celeb couple Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell definitely win for cutest induction ceremony ever. Oh, and Ryan Reynolds brought the whole gang along, including wife Blake Lively and their two children. Some, including John Legend, Jason Bateman, Selena Quintanilla, Sarah Silverman and Tyra Banks will get their stars later this year. Need a schedule? Keep up to date on the Walk of Fame website.
