Beyoncé is the queen of everything — you can try to argue that, but I warn you, don’t do it publicly or the BeyHive will take you down (which basically proves my point). But what does the queen of everything like to do in her spare time? Well, between writing and recording hit songs, slaying the fashion game while sitting courtside at basketball games, raising three perfect children and consuming Pepsi products (#ad), Yoncé loves to attend concerts as well.
If you’ve ever wanted to run into the mama of three and ruler of the music industry, you just might be able to make it happen if you go to these performer’s concerts in the future. There’s a pretty good chance she’ll be there, dancing and singing along too.
Missy Elliott
Mere weeks after giving birth to her twins, Beyoncé attended a Missy Elliott concert with her sister, Solange. Missy Elliott’s performance was part of the FYF Festival. The Knowles sisters reportedly had a great time and even had a meet-and-greet with Missy Elliott after the show.
Britney Spears
Three music icons in one arena: It sounds too good to be true, right? Think again.
That’s exactly what happened when Beyoncé and Jay-Z attended one of Britney Spears’ concerts in Las Vegas in 2015. The two singers have reportedly known each other for years, so this concert was a kind of unofficial reunion and a chance for Bey to fangirl for her friend. As she is prone to do, Beyoncé was reportedly seen singing and dancing along at various points throughout the concert.
Coldplay
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been longtime fans of Coldplay. The pair passed on that love in August 2016 when they took Blue Ivy to one of Coldplay’s concerts. The concert was held in the Hamptons in New York, and according to People magazine, it was a “special invitation-only SiriusXM Coldplay concert at The Stephen Talkhouse […] benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project.”
Mariah Carey
Beyoncé attended one of Mariah Carey’s NYC concerts in late 2016. The details are slim, but the two posed for a selfie, and Carey thanked Beyoncé for attending. What could be a more magical way to celebrate the Christmas season than seeing Beyoncé and Carey together in the same room?
Janet Jackson
In 2015, Beyoncé took her daughter Blue Ivy to see the one and only Janet Jackson in concert during her Unbreakable World Tour. Bey and Blue were reportedly seen dancing and singing along in the crowd by onlookers. Afterward, the two went backstage for a meet-and-greet with some of the younger dancers who performed during the concert.
Jay-Z
While she and her hubby have performed together numerous times, including the recent notable appearance at a Hillary Clinton 2016 Presidential Election event, Beyoncé has also been strictly an attendee at one of Jay-Z’s 2013 concerts. She reportedly attracted just as much attention as her husband, and afterward, she partied at a club that reportedly spun her hit song “Drunk in Love.”
Chloe x Halle
Chloe and Halle are currently the young protégés of Beyoncé. Featured in the film component of Lemonade as well as regularly being promoted by Beyoncé via social media, Chloe and Halle are rising stars. In fact, Beyoncé trusts them so much that they accepted an award on her behalf at the 2017 BET Awards — a special task indeed. While it’s entirely possible and realistic Beyoncé has already seen these young women in concert, she could definitely turn up at one of their concerts — and possibly bring along her oldest daughter, Blue Ivy, too.
Chance the Rapper
Chance the Rapper and Beyoncé are very much the same types of stars: universally-loved, charitable, gentle and visionary in their music. Beyoncé and Chance first met one another backstage when she dropped in on one of his MTV VMA interviews in 2016. They connected again at the 2017 Grammys; their third meeting should totally be at one of his concerts.
Solange
Beyoncé doesn’t hide her love for her sister, musical artist Solange. Beyoncé and Solange are inseparable, with Beyoncé regularly showing her sister love on social media and in public. We have yet to see Bey attend one of Solange’s concerts, but chances are that if it hasn’t happened already, it will happen soon.
Lauryn Hill
Chances are also pretty good that Beyoncé could show up at a Lauryn Hill concert. Hill has been cited as a musical inspiration of Beyoncé’s in the past, so it’s not exactly outside the realm of possibility that she would go and see one of her idols.
Stevie Wonder
Beyoncé has cited Stevie Wonder as a musical influence in the past, so it’s entirely likely that she would show up at one of his concerts in the future. When interviewed by MTV in 2010, she was asked which artists she drew inspiration from for her self-titled album Beyoncé. Among the many cited, Wonder was among them.
Who knows — if Bey did attend one of his concerts, fans could even be treated to a duet. Let’s keep our fingers crossed this all comes to fruition.
