November is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to snuggle up and indulge in all the TV shows you’ve been putting off binging as well as checking out what new and original holiday fare is on tap. Luckily, Netflix has released their full list of what’s coming in November, and we have chosen some of our favorite titles, new and old, to spotlight for your streaming consideration.
There’s a lot to choose from this November, so don’t get overwhelmed; get excited. You could while away the hours watching the thrilling soon-to-be-added movies Doctor Strange and Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. Maybe you’re in the mood for something a little more sedate but nonetheless enthralling, like The English Patient or the Jennifer Aniston rom-com The Break-Up. Or perhaps you don’t give a fig about the big movies, and instead, you’re excited for any of the four original holiday movies Netflix is releasing in addition to crowd-pleasing TV series like House of Cards and The Great British Baking Show.

‘Sex and the City: The Movie’
Hitting Netflix Nov. 1, the first of two full-length movies continuing the Sex and the City arrives. Expect tons of fashion montages, lots of honest conversations between our four favorite SATC BFFs, a few fights and one wedding that doesn't go according to plan.
‘House of Cards’ (Season 6)
Without Frank, Claire Underwood thrives as she becomes the first woman president. But does she have any real power? Or is her administration all smoke and mirrors? Find out on Nov. 2.
‘The Holiday Calendar’
When a photographer inherits an antique Advent calendar, she discovers it may lead her to romance by predicting the future. Look for it on Nov. 2.
‘Julie & Julia’
Beloved movie Julie & Julia is finally available to stream on Netflix starting Nov. 1. Split into two stories, Julie & Julia follows Julia Child as she works her way toward becoming the cooking maven she's remembered as and, in another timeline, Julie Powell, who attempts to find her purpose in life by cooking her way through Child's famous tome, Mastering the Art of French Cooking.
John Leguizamo’s ‘Latin History for Morons’
Colombian-American actor John Leguizamo comes to Netflix with his one-man Broadway show that details 3,000 years of Latino history, including what really happened to the Aztecs and Incans. Look for the Tony Award-winning show on Nov. 5.
‘The Kominsky Method’
From the creator of The Big Bang Theory, The Kominsky Method stars Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin as famed actor and teacher Sandy Kominsky (Douglas) and his agent, Norm Newlander (Arkin). The old friends and colleagues are trying to figure out how to grow old gracefully in this original series, and there are wonderfully funny mixed results. Check it out when it hits Netflix on Nov. 16.
‘Outlaw King’
After being made a criminal by the King of England, Robert the Bruce (Chris Pine) must battle to regain control of Scotland. The movie begins its Netflix reign starting Nov. 9.
‘The Great British Baking Show’ (Season 6)
Get ready to enter the big white tent with 12 all-new bakers on Nov. 9. Binge the show to find out who will win the most exciting and delicious TV bake-off of all time.
‘Westside’
This original reality show follows nine Los Angeles-based musicians as they try to establish their musical careers. The show is available for streaming on Nov. 9.
‘The Princess Switch’
Arriving Nov. 16, this holiday romantic comedy is about a blue-collar Chicago gal (played by Vanessa Hudgens) who opts to trade places with a soon-to-be princess (also played by Vanessa Hudgens) when they discover they look alike.
‘Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj’
Arriving Nov. 4, Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj is a new kind of talk show, with former Daily Show correspondent and stand-up comedian Hasan Minhaj sitting down with us every week to discuss the latest in politics through a comedic lens.
‘The Final Table’
For this cooking competition show, the finest chefs from all over the globe are brought together to cook recipes from their various home countries. Find your seat at The Final Table on Nov. 20.
‘The Tribe’
When a businessperson's memory gets erased, he and his biological mother start a dance group that focuses on fun and family. This funny movie is available on Nov. 21.
‘The Christmas Chronicles’
A brother and sister team up for an adventure with Santa Claus they will never forget. From the filmmakers behind Harry Potter and Home Alone, this family-friendly movie is available Nov. 22.
‘A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding’
In this sequel to last year's A Christmas Prince, Amber and Richard have set a wedding date. But as the nuptials get closer, Amber gets cold feet about becoming queen. Wedding bells ring on Nov. 30.
