Hollywood’s newest couple: Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara

Hearts are breaking everywhere today now that Us Weekly has revealed Joe Manganiello is no longer a single man. According to the entertainment magazine, the True Blood actor is dating Sofia Vergara.

The hot couple was reportedly introduced at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in May. At the time, the Modern Family actress was still dating her fiancé, Nick Loeb. Vergarasplit with her boyfriend just weeks later.

A source explained that the hot coupling is “very, very new.”

With both actors suddenly single, Manganiello visited the 41-year-old star in New Orleans over the holiday weekend where she is currently filming Don’t Mess With Texas with Reese Witherspoon.

An onlooker spotted the duo dining at Li’l Dizzy’s Cafe on Sunday. The diner shared, “They were very friendly and took pictures with other diners,” and while dining, “they held each other and kissed several times.”

Another insider talked about the Magic Mike star admiring the Latina actress from afar for some time now. They explained, “Sofia is Joe’s dream girl! He’s been smitten with her for years. He’s always had a huge crush on her. Things are going well for them so far.”

The timing worked out perfectly with the ending of Vergara’s relationship with Loeb and Manganiello splitting with model, Bridget Peters, last January. He was also named People magazine’s “Hottest Bachelor” for its cover story this week, which is certainly interesting timing.

He told People, “I’m at my best when I have someone to wake up next to and come home to.”

It looks like that lucky lady is Sofia Vergara.
