Kiefer Sutherland made Freddie Prinze, Jr. want to quit acting
Freddie Prinze, Jr. hasn’t been incredibly vocal in the last few decades, but he has continued the acting game. The actor told ABC News that he almost quit a few years ago because of the “most unprofessional dude in the world” — his 24 co-star, Kiefer Sutherland.

“I did 24, it was terrible,” Prinze said. “I hated every moment of it.”
But the actor explained it wasn’t the show itself that made him hate the experience, but rather the show’s star.
“Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world,” Prinze said. “That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face. I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that.”
Although Prinze’s appearance on the show didn’t last long, it made enough of an impact on his life to know who to work with in the future — or at least who not to work with.

“I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped,” Prinze said, but added that he realized he’d have to work with people he didn’t like no matter what industry he was in — including a stint with Vince McMahon at the WWE.
“At least he was cool and tall,” the actor joked. “I didn’t have to take my shoes off to do scenes with him, which they made me do [with Sutherland].”

A rep for Sutherland responded to ABC News after Prinze’s interview went viral and took the high road, “Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze, Jr. more than five years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie’s grievances.”
“Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best.”
