Bruce Jenner’s mom’s comments about his transition make us uncomfortable
Bruce Jenner has yet to publicly discuss whether he is transgendered or just likes having long hair. Good thing he has his mom to spill the beans for him.
The Olympic gold medalist — better known as the beleaguered dad on Keeping Up with the Kardashians — has been the subject of rumors he is in the midst of transitioning to female, but so far has avoided the topic with the press. His mother, however, is a different story.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline, Esther Jenner totally outed her own son and revealed what would have probably been best left to him to discuss.

“I just learned about [his transition],” she said. “Bruce filled me in, and we had a very long, long, long talk about it.
“I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is, himself as a father, as an Olympian, a wonderful public speaker,” she continued. “He instills enthusiasm in people. He’s gifted. Right now I am more proud of him for what he’s allowing himself to do. I am more proud of him now than when he stood on that podium and put the gold medal around his neck. He deserves all the respect.
“I support him wholeheartedly,” she added. “I just love him like I always have.”

They sound like very sweet words from a very sweet woman, but if we were Bruce, we would be less than thrilled that mommy dearest is talking to the press about such an intensely personal issue — especially since he is trying to nail down a deal to make the announcement himself in an exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer.
An insider told Page Six that Bruce will start filming segments for both a docuseries about his transition and the interview with Sawyer this week, and that the interview will air sometime in May.
“Diane has always been very supportive of the LGBT community,” another source told Us Magazine. “She has been honored by GLAAD.”
