The #HatchKids sat down with SheKnows this holiday season to discuss what it means to have a #NoHateHoliday, and the responses were truly inspiring. Now your favorite celebs are jumping on board, too, and sharing what it means to be hate-free.

We caught up with some of the biggest names in Hollywood at the TrevorLIVE event Sunday night.

“To have a #NoHateHoliday for me means to just spread more love, spread more joy. Life is short. Why waste any time having any negative feeling towards ourselves or towards others?” How to Get Away with Murder actress Aja Naomi King shared.

The TrevorLIVE event was sponsored by The Trevor Project, which is an organization that offers a 24-hour hotline for gay or questioning youth who need support. Obviously, the mission behind The Trevor Project goes hand in hand with the #NoHateHoliday initiative, and the outpouring of support from celebs was heartwarming.

“Hate is such a negative word,” television personality Lisa Vanderpump explained. “It kind of gives me shivers even. And to think some of these kids, what they go through, it’s about loving each other and acceptance.”

To find out what other celebs like American Horror Story‘s Cheyenne Jackson, How to Get Away With Murder‘s Matt McGorry and Scream Queens‘ Niecy Nash had to say about their #NoHateHoliday plans, watch the video at the top.
