A lot happened behind the scenes of Ghostbusters, according to the cast

Is there anything better than hanging out with a group of funny women? The cast of Ghostbusters is so hilarious, we want to put on our proton packs and fight evil too — even at the risk of getting slimed. SheKnows sat down with stars Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Kristen Wiig and director Paul Feig.

We snatched a few behind-the-scenes photos from the Ghostbusters press tour and asked the cast and Feig to comment on the most memorable moments. Spoiler alert: At one point, Feig is on the ground, very appropriately bowing to the four ladies. McKinnon’s take? “It looks like [Jones] is showing him [her] underwear.” Jones agrees, “I was showing him who’s boss.”

It’s such a treat to hear these fabulous ladies pal around — a reminder that women in entertainment can lift each other up. But that doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy a good old-fashioned hunk, aka fellow star Chris Hemsworth. After all these months of working with him, they still react to seeing photos of him shirtless. And yes, we made sure to include them in this video.

Paul Feig even says they made sure to take plenty on set: “We took a ton of photos of Chris shirtless… [We] had him dressed as different people, but all these were shirtless.” If that’s not good directing, I don’t know what is.
