Christina Haack Demands ‘Respect’ From Tarek El Moussa in a Tense Sneak Peek of The Flip Off

Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa are showing off their competitive spirits in HGTV’s The Flip Off.

In this exclusive clip from Jan. 29’s premiere episode obtained by SheKnows, the exes cross paths at their son’s soccer game, where Tarek’s wife Heather Rae El Moussa also joins them, and the group proceeds to get into a tense discussion about who is better at flipping houses.

As Tarek opens up about the challenging year he had with his house flipping business, his interior designer ex jokes, “It’s because you don’t have anyone designing the houses.”

To show off her knowledge about the industry, the Christina on the Coast star lists off some challenging factors on the real estate market, “I know the interest rates are higher, I know there’s less inventory, I know there [are] way more investors.”

Tarek quips back with a jab of his own, “You’ve been watching my webinars, huh?”

“You act like I’ve never flipped a frickin’ house,” Christina hits back. “Can you show some respect for your older children’s mom?”

Christina turns to Heather, who married Tarek in 2021, to ask if her ex is “still cheap,” joking that “the second wife always gets the better version” when Heather confirms he is not.

“I will flip a house against you anytime, anywhere, it doesn’t matter you will never beat me,” Tarek tells Christina, thus laying the groundwork for the new show’s premise.

The Flip Off is a house flipping competition that was originally intended to see Tarek and Heather go head-to-head with Christina and her now-ex Josh Hall, who she splits from as the show gets underway before taking on the challenge with a new partner.

Tarek and Christina were married from 2009 until 2015 and share two children, a daughter named Taylor born in 2010 and a son, Brayden, in 2015. Tarek and Heather share a son, Tristan, born in Jan. 2023.

HGTV’s The Flip Off airs weekly on Wednesdays starting from January 29.
