This Video is Further Proof The Office Must Return For a Reboot

With series after series getting a modern-day reboot by major networks, it’s no surprise fans are looking at beloved shows like Friends, Gossip Girl and The Office in a hopeful new light. Could they be next? Interest in all things reboot is so high, nearly every star of the show gets asked the big question: Would you come back and revive the series?

It’s the sixth anniversary of the series finale back in 2013, so we sat down with The Office‘s Angela Kinsey and Brian Baumgartner, aka Angela and Kevin, to go down the Dunder Mifflin memory lane and imagine all the hilarious antics the characters would be up to now.

If this video is not enough proof that the series should return for round two, then John Krasinski’s enthusiasm about reviving Jim Halpert — Scranton’s premier paper salesman — will add to the nostalgia factor.

“I think we should reboot it,” he told Entertainment Tonight in 2018. “I think it’s hard obviously with everybody’s schedule to do an Office reboot, but I would so be down. It wasn’t just a show for us. It was a family. None of us had really done anything before.”

As if that wasn’t enough to bring us to tears, he continued to lay it on thick: “It was so awesome, it felt so intimate and small. And then when it caught on and people were actually watching, we were genuinely blown away. So all that to say [that] doing a reboot for us wouldn’t just be about bringing the show back, it would be about getting back together with those people. They’re my family, they’re my first and only original business Hollywood-y family, so I’d be lucky to do it.”
