EXCLUSIVE: Ellie Kemper Dishes on Tina Fey, Daniel Radcliffe, & Mom-Shaming — Plus a Peek at Her Holiday Plans

It’s basically impossible to look at Ellie Kemper without smiling: From The Office to Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Kemper’s infectious cheeriness and wicked sense of humor light up the room. We chatted with Kemper about Tina Fey, Daniel Radcliffe, and mom-shaming (yes, it affects celebs too!), and got all the details on how she’s making time for family this holiday season.

Kemper recently welcomed her second child with husband Michael Koman — baby Matthew is only a few months old, while sibling James is now 3 years old. With two young kids, the Kimmy Schmidt creator is more grateful for family time than ever, and she’s partnered with HP’s Print the Holidays campaign to help families everywhere make the most of their time together.

The campaign helps families find non-screen activities to do together, recognizing that (already excessive) screen time only gets worse when you’re home for the holidays. “I really recognize the value in non-screen time,” Kemper shares. “I am kind of a dinosaur…I can’t tell you how many times I’ve yelled at my husband for looking at his phone while I’m talking to him.”

“[the campaign] did obviously strike a chord with me,” Kemper laughs, “this return to doing things you can pick up and put down and do with your hands.”

Watch the full video to find out why Kemper’s been mom-shamed (hint: it’s not about screen time) — plus details on Daniel Radcliffe, Tina Fey, Rainn Wilson, and more.
