Ecorazzi Eats Restaurant Week

Get ready to fire up your tastebuds for a week of eco-restaurant hopping. Ecorazzi Eats Restaurant Week is celebrating sustainable, vegetarian, and vegan restaurants October 12 to 19, 2011. From Maine to Hawaii, many of the most popular eco-eateries are offering specials, including 3-course prix fixe meals to 20 percent off (or free) desserts or appetizers. And this delicious restaurant week arrives just in time for October’s Vegetarian Awareness Month!

Reaching out to eco-eaters online and offline
 
This event is Ecorazzi’s first major effort to connect with their readers offline. “We recently celebrated our five-year anniversary and wanted to do something special to celebrate with our readers. Since we have such a strong vegan and vegetarian following, plus our focus on the environment, this kind of restaurant week seemed like a great fit for our audience,” said Rebecca Carter, co-founder of Ecorazzi. “Plus, we just wanted an excuse to eat delicious food,” she added.

In addition to receiving a great deal at these participating restaurants from October 12 to 19, eco-diners can also participate online by entering the #EcorazziEats Twitter Photo Contest.
