Calling all creative kiddos: Kids Designer Challenge

If your child is an aspiring artist (and what kiddo isn’t?), here’s a super cool design contest that gives kids an opportunity to be creative while also making a difference in the world. CHOOZE shoes and Soles4Souls have teamed up to help impoverished nations, and they want your child to be a part of the cause.

Kids Designer Challenge

Each child is an artist and CHOOZE invites all children to use their creativity to make a different in the lives of families living in poverty. If your kiddos are old enough to color, they are old enough to be the next CHOOZE designer.

CHOOZE shoes

CHOOZE shoes was created by Sharon Blumberg, a mom of three spirited children. Blumberg started off as an artist in children’s specialty stores which led to her own design business doing custom murals and furniture for kids’ rooms. Her passion for kids and creativity inspired her to start CHOOZE shoes, a kids fashion company offering uniquely patterned vegan shoes. The right and left shoe are matched but never the same.

Soles4Souls

CHOOZE is looking for a design to be the “Create a Difference” shoe, which will be sold worldwide with all profits going towards the Soles4Souls micro-enterprise program. Soles4Souls is a charitable program designed to provide impoverished people in developing nations with the resources they need to start and maintain their own businesses.

Get your child involved

The Kids Designer Challenge requires that each child submit two pieces of art (one for each shoe since CHOOZE shoes are always two coordinating fabrics). Fabrics will be created from the winner’s art and the “Create a Difference” shoes will be sold worldwide recognizing the winner as the primary designer.
