Grilled Romaine Hearts

Fresh lettuce is ideal for lighter summer salads but when the temperatures plummet, the last thing I want to eat is something cool and crisp. That is where a good grill pan comes in handy. Drizzle olive oil over romaine hearts, season with salt and pepper, and you’ve got a fab and flavorful warm side dish that rivals any chilled salad.
