Teas you haven’t tried but should

Wild Hibiscus Heart-Tea ($7 for 20 bags)

We are ardent fans of Wild Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup and now the Wild Hibiscus company offers another tasty way to reap the benefits of this high-antioxidant flower. Wild Hibiscus Heart-Tea is a strong full bodied tea with intense berry flavor and a deep red color. Each foil-sealed tea bag contains the health benefits of three whole wild hibiscus flowers. Because the flowers are cold dried using a unique process in Sydney, Australia, they retain a high antioxidant content to boost your heart health.

Cat Cora’s Kitchen by Gaea Saffron Tea (available in July — worth the wait)

In addition to being a favorite ingredient in our kitchen, saffron has been sought after for its medicinal properties. It has been used to relieve menstrual pain, boost mood, and fight against heart disease and some cancers. Saffron, a member of the lily family, is rich in antioxidants, zinc, calcium, iron, and potassium. Add a pinch of saffron threads to your favorite meals and then sip on Cat Cora’s new saffron-based herbal teas, available in five flavors.

Moringa Oleifera Tea ($14 for 20 bags)

Moringa Oleifera Tea is an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant-rich drink as well as a favorite of Dr. Oz (Moringa Source’s Moringa Oleifera was featured on The Dr. Oz Show in April 2012). Dr. Oz recommends sipping on Moringa Oleifera tea daily as a natural energy blaster (note: it is decaffeinated). Moringa Source also has a healthy array of other products derived from the Moringa Oleifera plant, also called a super-plant because of its nutrient density.

Sweet Leaf Teas ($20 for 12 (16-ounce) bottles)

If you prefer an icy cold ready-to-drink tea, Sweet Leaf Teas come in a yummy variety of green and black tea flavors, including original, lemonade, peach, citrus, and lemon/lime. Sweet Leaf offers all-natural and organic teas sweetened with cane sugar as well as calorie-free diet flavored teas.
