5-Spice Coconut Frozen Yogurt
Makes 1-1/2 quarts
Ingredients:

- 3 cups vanilla coconut based yogurt
- 1 (15-ounce) can coconut milk
- Sugar or another sweetener to taste
- 1 teaspoon Chinese 5-spice powder
- Generous pinch of salt
- 1 cup flaked coconut (optional)

Directions:

- In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, coconut milk, sugar, and salt.
- Freeze in an ice cream maker following the manufacturer’s directions. Add the coconut, if using, during the last 5 minutes of processing.
- Eat immediately with a large spoon and a lot of fresh fruit.
- You can also place frozen yogurt in a freezer-safe container and freeze up to 2 months. Thaw for 15 minutes before serving so the mixture is creamy.
