How often have you wondered why breast cancer happens to some women and not to others? How many times have you hoped that following a vegan diet or improving your lifestyle would protect you from getting the disease? Breast cancer can happen to anyone, regardless of diet, lifestyle, or health status. Because there is so much more to learn about preventing breast cancer, the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation and the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope have launched a groundbreaking breast cancer research study, and they want you to participate in it.

Health of Women Study

The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation and Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope officially launched the Health of Women study (HOW), a long-term cohort study tracking the health of women via online and mobile platforms.  This new research model is designed to facilitate the discovery of the causes of breast cancer and develop avenues for prevention. Any woman (or man) over the age of 18 years old can participate in this revolutionary effort at learning more about breast cancer.

Why join the HOW study?

With millions of dollars spent and awareness at an all-time high, we have made great strides in how we treat breast cancer, but we still don’t know how to prevent this disease.  The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation has created a completely new kind of study that will turn traditional research processes on its head. By focusing on both healthy women and breast cancer patients and survivors, and directly involving them as participants, the HOW study will become a silo of health data needed to find the cause and develop prevention.

Your participation will help researchers learn more about breast cancer and potentially save more lives — possibly even your own. Do your part to support the cause to beat breast cancer and sign up today.
