Liquid Apple Pie

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces apple cider
  • t

  • 1 tea bag Assam or other strong black whole tea leaf
  • t

  • 1 tablespoon Pumpkin Spice Syrup
  • t

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons heavy cream*

Directions:

  1. Bring cider to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. t

  3. Place tea bag in a mug. Pour cider over tea bag. Steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bag.
  4. t

  5. Add pumpkin pie syrup. Stir in cream.

*Cook’s note: The original recipe calls for heavy cream, suitable for vegetarians. To make it vegan-friendly, swap in your favorite cream alternative.
