If your sweet tooth continues to crave ice cream even when the weather turns chilly, Kaurina’s Kulfi will not disappoint. In fact, the company’s motto is “What ice cream should be”. It’s true.

What is kulfi?

Kulfi is the original ice cream of India. Believed to have its origins in Persia, kulfi was introduced to the subcontinent by Moghul royalty in the 1500s. Unlike most ice cream, kulfi is not whipped and is made with only pure cooked milk, sugar, and natural flavors. The result is a decadent, intense ice cream experience.

Kaurina’s Kulfi

Kaurina’s started when Mrs. Jas Singh began making kulfi from an original family recipe for family and friends. Kaurina’s stays true to tradition by using only pure, simple ingredients, with no eggs or preservatives. As a bonus, Kaurina’s Kulfi is also gluten-free.

Kaurina’s offers expected ice cream flavors, such as chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and coconut, but also offers out of the ordinary flavors such as Malai (cardamom), Kheer (rice pudding), and Chikoo (sopadillo fruit).

Kaurina’s is currently available at H-E-B, Artizone and Fiesta Mart but will be launching nationwide in November.
