Global cuisine at California’s Ravens’ Restaurant

Ravens’ Restaurant, located at the Stanford Inn, an eco-resort in Mendocino County, has long been an innovator when it comes to vegan cuisine. In an effort to introduce different types of international cuisine to its discriminating patrons, the restaurant has recently introduced an “Ethnic Inspirations” night in which dishes from a specific region or culture are showcased in a vegan light. Everything from Cajun to Cuban to Thai will be served every Wednesday night at the award-winning restaurant in Mendocino County.

“Being vegan is not a trend, it is a lifestyle,” said Jeff Stanford, owner of Ravens’ Restaurant and Stanford Inn by the Sea. “This new addition to the Ravens’ menu is exciting because it introduces diners to new flavors and cuisines, and showcases how diverse vegan cuisine can be. We want our Ethnic Inspirations nights to expand your pallet and add some zest to your culinary life.”

Monthly themes for globally-inspired vegan menus

The Ravens’ “Ethnic Inspirations” menu is available every Wednesday night through April 2013, with a different region or theme showcased each month! In addition to the very affordable entrée cost, the restaurant also offers half-off cocktails and beer every Wednesday night.

“At the Stanford Inn and Ravens’ Restaurant we want to demonstrate not only how easy and enjoyable it is to be vegan, but that there is truly every reason to be, for the good of the planet, the animals, and the human body,” states Sid Garza-Hillman, nutritionist and kitchen director at the Stanford Inn. “At Ravens’ we feature a predominantly whole plant-based menu; supremely healthy and delicious at the same time.”
