Stir these adorable owl marshmallow-decorated spoons into your hot chocolate for a fun wintertime treat.
Whooooo doesn’t love hot cocoa? And whooooo wouldn’t get a hoot out of these little snowy owl spoons?
Made with marshmallows and white chocolate, they’re easy to create and melt when stirred into a hot beverage. Perfect for owl-themed parties or winter events where hot chocolate is going to be served. (But they’d be pretty sweet on a good old-fashioned snow day, too!)
Hoot cocoa spoons
Ingredients and supplies:
- Tablespoons (stainless steel or plastic)
- Campfire Giant Roasters Marshmallows
- Icing eyes
- White chocolate chips
- White candy decorator hearts
- White candy melts
- Scissors
- 1-inch circle cutter
- Knife
Directions:
Prep your ingredients and cut marshmallows
Gather your supplies and ingredients.
Cut the giant marshmallows in half with scissors.
With a 1-inch circle cutter, slice the top of the cut marshmallows to form the owl ears.
Attach owl marshmallows to spoons
Attach the owl-shaped marshmallows to the spoon heads. (The cut, sticky areas should secure the marshmallows in place.) Adjust them as needed to fit the spoon heads.
Add decorations to owls
Cut the candy melt circles in half for the owl wings.
Melt a few extra candy melts in a microwave safe dish, and use it like glue to attach the icing eyes, white chocolate chips and candy hearts to the marshmallow owls.
Add the cut candy melt wings last, after you’ve placed the other pieces.
Stir up your hoot cocoa!
Use your sweet little spoons to stir up your favorite cup of hoot cocoa.
