5. Marshmallow heart bracelet recipe
Yields 5
Ingredients:
- 5 large marshmallows
- 1/2 cup nonpareil sprinkles
- Vanilla frosting
- 1 skewer
- 5 strings from a Twizzlers Pull ‘N’ Peel
Directions:
- Use the tip of a skewer to poke a heart shape into the centers of the marshmallows. Carefully cover the shape with frosting. Liberally coat the frosting with sprinkles, and shake off the remaining sprinkles.
- Stick the skewer into the center of each marshmallow. Carefully pull a Twizzlers string through each one, and fasten together to close.
6. Pink heart Rice Krispies pops recipe
Yields 5
Ingredients:
- 3 cups Rice Krispies
- 1-1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 bag marshmallows
- Red food dye
- Vanilla frosting
- Valentine’s Day sprinkles
Directions:
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, heat the butter. Add the marshmallows, and mix until melted, about 5 minutes. Add red food dye, and stir until it turns pink.
- Pour the mixture over the Rice Krispies, and stir to combine. With the back of a buttered spatula, press the mixture into an 8 x 8-inch square baking dish. Chill for at least 2 hours.
- Cut out heart shapes. Frost with vanilla frosting, and top with sprinkles. Poke a lollipop stick through the tip of the heart to make it a pop.
