Easy Easter pudding pop eggs with a bunny surprise inside

Get ready for some yummy, Easter-themed inception: This treat within a treat will surprise all your guests at your Easter brunch. Even better, making these frozen pudding pop eggs with candy bunnies inside is surprisingly simple. Now that’s something to celebrate.

Put all those plastic Easter eggs to good use for a fun, chocolaty treat, but be careful when drilling holes into plastic. Go slow, and put a cloth underneath your egg to keep it from slipping.

I got this bunny candy mold at Walmart. Any Easter-shaped candy mold will work. Just make sure your eggs are slightly larger than your inside treat.

Use decorative paper straws or lollipop sticks. Wooden popsicle sticks would work too.

I used chocolate pudding, but you can also use white putting, adding some pastel food coloring if you like.

Fill the bottom halves of the plastic eggs with pudding. An egg carton works perfectly for holding the eggs in place.

Insert your candy bunnies upside down, with the straws poking through the center holes.

Using a plastic squeeze bottle or piping bag, finish filling up your eggs with the pudding mixture, and then freeze them.

When you’re ready to serve, just run them under some hot water for a few seconds to loosen them.

Remove the plastic eggs, and enjoy. You can also put them on a plate and keep them in the freezer until you’re ready to serve (and surprise) your guests.

Now they’re ready to eat.

Start licking, and find your candy bunny surprise inside.
