M&M’s holiday gorp

Do you gorp? Here’s a recipe for holiday gorp made with MY M&M’s.

t

Do you gorp?

t Most likely, you do or you have. “Gorp” is a word (now officially in Merriam-Webster’s) that started out as the catchy, cute acronym G.O.R.P., which means “good-old raisins and peanuts.” And as long as raisins and peanuts are involved, the combinations are endless.

t Enter these adorable and festive MY M&M’s! I adore the snowman in their holiday mix, but one of the most fun things about MY M&M’s is that you can personalize your message on them and even add your own images! So sweet!

t

t Of course, they’d be adorable and delicious enough in a bowl on their own, but added to your own homemade gorp, they are sure to make your family and friends smile.

Ingredients:

    t
  • 1 (7 ounce) bag MY M&M’s
  • t

  • 1 cup peanuts (I used honey-roasted peanuts for this version, but plain unsalted and salted peanuts are great, too.)
  • t

  • 1 cup raisins

Directions:

t Mix the ingredients together gently with a rubber spatula or clean hands — and that’s it! Put the gorp in pretty little bowls and serve it as a cocktail snack or at your holiday parties and gatherings.

t

t Or spoon it into small cellophane bags to make mini holiday-gorp snack packs!

t

t Yum! Easy and adorable! MY M&M’s gorp is definitely merry! Add this recipe to your list for super-sweet and easy holiday entertaining.
