t As it gets closer to the day of the big game, I love to think about all the party foods. I have a few go-to appetizers that I love to share with my friends, but I’ve wanted to change up some of my usual recipes.
t My husband loves jalapeno poppers, but I do not like all the work that is involved in making them. You have to cut up and clean out the jalapenos, and you also have to make the mixture that goes inside them. And then you have to coat the jalapenos in flour and milk. Twice! As you can see, it’s a lot of work.
t So I created a jalapeno popper dip. It is so much easier to make. You just throw all the ingredients together and bake it. You can eat it with crackers, sourdough bread, tortilla chips, pretzels and more! It is just as satisfying, with very little work.
t I also wanted to change it up a little and add some Jimmy Dean Fully Cooked Crumbles. They provide a quick and easy way to add a dash of deliciousness to any recipe. They are precooked, so I just add them to the mix, and they add a whole new level of flavor to this dip. It couldn’t be any easier!

Directions:

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
- Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese and garlic. Stir until smooth. Add jalapenos and green chilies.
- Spread the dip into the pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown.
- Spread it on crackers or bread, or use it as a dip with pretzels or tortilla chips! We prefer it on bread when it’s warm and on crackers when it’s cold. If any is leftover, you can store it in the fridge for a few days in an airtight container.
