Traditionally cooked for Jewish holidays, brisket has become a favorite of everyone, regardless of religious tradition. It’s an economical cut of beef that, when cooked correctly, delights and impresses.
This year, Rosh Hashanah 2014 begins on the evening of Wednesday, Sept. 24 and ends on the evening of Friday, Sept. 26. We’ve rounded up a list of not-so-traditional ways to cook up brisket for this Jewish New Year, and what to do with all those leftovers.
