Buffalo chicken strips
Serves 4
You can cook your chicken breast any way you like for this dish. It’s a good way to use leftover chicken. To speed things up, you can use a precooked, frozen chicken fillet.
Ingredients:
1 stick (4 ounces) butter
1/2 cup hot sauce, such as Frank’s
1 pound cooked chicken breast cut into strips
Blue cheese crumbles to garnish, optional
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives, optional
Directions:
- Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Stir in hot sauce and let cook for one minute.
- Add chicken breast strips and cook, stirring, until heated through.
- Sprinkle chicken with blue cheese crumbles and chopped chives. Serve.
