10 Things you eat when you’ve had too much wine

We’ve all been there… girls’ night out, the empty wine bottles outnumber the people, and of course you forgot to eat. Next stop: drunk food. You either hit up the closest fast-food joint or head home and raid the freezer. Either way, that junk food never tasted so good.

1. Pizza Rolls

Pizza Rolls. My No. 1 I’ve-had-way-too-much-wine snack. Why do they taste so good? And why can I never, ever wait until they’ve cooled off? Every time with the scorching-hot cheese. Every. Single. Time.

2. Mac and cheese (the blue box kind)

Tip: When your equally tipsy friend suggests that lots of salt makes the water boil faster, do not assume she is a genius. You will end up with overly salty mac and cheese that you eat anyway because it’s the very best thing you’ve ever had.

3. Cheese puffs

You know the ridiculously large tub of generic cheese puffs that you would probably never touch otherwise? Demolished.

4. Mozzarella sticks

Do you see a theme here with the cheese? It’s just sooooo good when it’s breaded and melty.

5. Taco Bell bean and cheese burrito

After too much wine, one bite of that cheesy goodness, and it’s eyes rolling back in your head and moans of delight.

6. Nachos

I’m not talking about any kind of real cheese here. It’s faux cheese sauce all the way.

7. Jack in the Box tacos

They’re flat. They’re made of indescribable meat. They’re deep-fried. They’re the best thing ever.

9. Ramen

Forget the broth. Drain the noodles, stir in an extra-large spoonful of butter, and top with a dusting of that MSG-laden flavor packet that tastes like unicorn sprinkles. Then eat with chopsticks because you’re fancy like that.

10. Sriracha sauce

See above ramen delight. Sriracha sauce makes that glorious concoction about 100 times better. Pizza? Check. Nachos? Check. Tacos? Check. You get the idea.
