TV’s MasterChef recipes: Simpler ways to make your favourites

Homemade pizza with pear, prosciutto and carmelized onions

A June episode pitted contestants against each other to prepare the best wood fired pizzas. The winner presented a caramelised onion, pear, prosciutto and walnut pizza. The contestants had to make the dough from scratch, something you might not have time to do.

Instead, purchase premade pizza dough — not crust — and follow this recipe from Food.com to create a homemade pie in 40 minutes.
