McDonald’s new delivery brings Big Macs to your door (if you live in NYC)

Have you ever lay in bed, wishing that when you open your eyes, a deliveryman with an Egg McMuffin, hash browns and coffee would be at your door?

If so, then your dreams are about to come true.

Following on the heels of Chipotle, Starbucks and a rumored upcoming service by Taco Bell, McDonald’s has announced it is testing out delivery service in New York City.

The chain is pairing up with Postmates, the same delivery app Chipotle and Starbucks use for their stores. Hungry customers will be able to choose from 88 McDonald’s stores around the city based on their location, including several which are open 24 hours a day. They’ll be charged a standard Postmates fee along with a delivery fee that’s on a sliding scale depending on how far they are from the restaurant of their choice.

So it may be a little pricier than usual, but just think — you can finally get the perfect hangover breakfast delivered to your door without having to leave the house before 10:30 a.m.!

Customers using Postmates to order McDonald’s can choose anything off the menu except, sadly, for ice cream.
