We tasted the new Starbucks Frappuccino flavors — here’s how they rate

Here at SheKnows, we decided to put the new Starbucks Frappuccino Fan Flavors to the test, especially since we all can start voting for our favorite on June 19.

We’ve ranked them in order based on how they tasted, starting with the worst. We’ve also shared some of our thoughts. And don’t worry, we don’t hold back.

6. Red Velvet Frappuccino

Does the name match the taste? No way.

Overall impression: “Fail.” “I’m not sure.” “Plain, weird and heavy.”

5. Cotton Candy Frappuccino

Does the name match the taste? Sure…

Overall impression: “Better than expected.” “Teletubbies in a cup.”

4. Lemon Bar Frappuccino

Does the name match the taste? Yep.

Overall impression: “Lemon and milk do not mix well.” “No, thank you.”

3. Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino

Does the name match the taste? Oh yeah!

Overall impression: “Typical.” “Cocoa, cocoa, cocoa.”

2. Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino

Does the name match the taste? Absolutely!

Overall impression: “Subtle.” “Gingerbread house.” “Strong coffee taste.”

1. Cupcake Frappuccino

Does the name match the taste? Oh yeah!

Overall impression: “French vanilla goodness.” “Cupcake frozen yogurt.”

At the end of the day, we were all pretty much unimpressed by the flavors. Red Velvet was a particular disappointment, especially since we all had high hopes for it. I may admit to having a grudge against Lemon Bar (it was unnecessarily messy), but I will not admit to craving a Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino. I won’t. Yet…
