More than 8,000 cases of Wish-Bone Ranch Dressing are being recalled due to concerns over improper labeling.
Pinnacle Foods Group, L.L.C. issued the voluntary recall after a customer discovered that bottles labeled as ranch dressing actually contained the company’s blue cheese dressing instead.

While there is nothing wrong with the product itself, the blue cheese dressing contains eggs, which the ranch dressing label fails to disclose. This could be deadly to anyone suffering from an egg allergy who doesn’t realize that their ranch dressing is actually blue cheese.
If you don’t have an egg allergy and aren’t annoyed by the swap, you can go right on enjoying the dressing. However, those who are dissatisfied can return the product at the place of purchase for a full refund.
Check your bottle of dressing for UPC code 0-41321-00661-6 and a use-by date of February 17, 2016 to see if it is affected by the recall. You can return it in-store for a full refund, or call (888) 299-7646 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST for more information.
In the meantime, if you’re really hankering for ranch dressing, why not try making your own?
