Chocolate-avocado pops recipe

Not only are these avocado and banana-chocolate frozen pops beautifully layered, but they are also delicious and a rich source of vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened chocolate powder
  • 2 cups almond milk, divided
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled

Directions:

  1. In a blender, combine the banana, 1 cup of almond milk and the chocolate, and blend until smooth. Pour halfway into the pop molds, and freeze them for 2 hours.
  2. After rinsing the blender, combine the avocado and the remaining almond milk, and blend until smooth. Pour into the pop molds, and add the tops or sticks. Freeze for 5 hours or until they become hard.
