Who doesn’t love a good, juicy, grilled burger with a side of fries? While delicious burgers and fries aren’t the healthiest thing for lunch or dinner, with a few simple tweaks, you can easily make burgers that are healthier, low-carb and gluten-free.
Lean ground turkey is seasoned with garlic and onions and grilled skillet-style for a bun-less burger that will make your mouth water. Top your patty with a slice of cheese, fresh tomatoes, red onions and a heaping spoonful of diced green chilies, and don’t forget the homemade, crinkle-cut sweet potato fries. They’re baked, not fried, keeping this dish waistline friendly but plenty delicious.
