At SheKnows Food, we spend a lot of time reading about — you guessed it — food (and drinks too!). And we’ve come across some stories that are too good to not share. Here are the food items from the week that you don’t want to miss.
1. Protect your Nutella
People love Nutella. And apparently people love to steal other people’s Nutella. So one genius German furniture designer made what is basically The Club for your Nutella. It’s a two-key lock that stops anyone in their tracks who might be thinking about dipping into your jar. You can preorder them on eBay now. — Eater

2. I’ll take a switchel on the rocks
Switchel — the drink you’ve never heard of but should definitely be drinking — is a steeped concoction of water and vinegar and usually includes ginger along with something for a little sweetness. According to Food52‘s Caroline Lange, it’s “like cheater’s lemonade — but maybe even better” due to the fact that you don’t actually have to squeeze any lemons. Adding whiskey and making it into a cocktail sounds like a pretty great idea too. Get the recipe, and get ahead of the trend. — Food52
3. Target might be your new happy hour spot
Target is already one of the very best places in the universe, but add a bar to it? People will never leave. Just think about it — fashionable trends for less and a spot to throw back a couple of cocktails? That is a recipe for success and exactly what one Chicago-area store has in mind. It has applied for two liquor licenses: one to sell alcohol, and one to serve. We can only hope that other Targets follow suit immediately. — Los Angeles Times

5. Trump’s buttery face
No matter where you fall on the political spectrum, it’s a little disconcerting to open your tub of butter and find The Donald staring back at you. But that’s exactly what one Missouri woman found this week. What do you think? There is a striking resemblance, but it’s really missing one key thing: the hair. — Mashable
