Rumors have been floating around for awhile now that McDonald’s was gearing up for all day breakfast, and we finally have a date.
On Oct. 6, 2015, feel free to sleep in as late as you want, then saunter into your local Mickey D’s as the sun begins to set and place your order. But perhaps the launch of all-day breakfast could be their savior. The chain is rolling it out at all 14,300+ of its restaurants in the United States on Oct. 6, with only a couple of stipulations. Some restaurants will offer McMuffin sandwiches but no biscuits, while other will offer biscuit sandwiches and not the classic english muffin. But all locations will have the same sides (hash browns, we’re comin’ for ya), platters, and breakfast burritos as usual.

Never again will you have to set your alarm in order to get your hands on a greasy hangover breakfast. In fact, that breakfast can now also include a milkshake instead of orange juice, if you’re so inclined. Either way, I think we can all rest a little easier tonight now that we know what our fast food future has in store.
