We all love a good milkshake to quench the thirst every now and then, but photographer and food blogger, Alana Dimou, took things to a whole new level with her milkshake parody.

There’s been a milkshake craze taking Australia by storm and, according to Broadsheet, it all started at a Canberra cafe called Pâtissez — before swiftly spreading through the country. But when it comes to Dimou’s milkshakes, it’s a combination of dinner and dessert, and the results are not only calorific, but totally awesome.

Taking to her blog, Dimou wrote about how if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.

“Be inspired,” she wrote, “Eat marshmallows and chicken. Milkshake flavours are irrelevant now, the duty falls upon whatever lies on top. May God have mercy on us all.”

And judging by the reaction to her posts on Instagram, there are many people who are inspired (warning: You may have extreme hunger pains after looking at these pictures).

Some of our other favourite reactions to these treats include: “I forgot about s’mores chicken when I said my favorite [sic] milkshake is strawberry,” “Can’t wait!! Holy shit this looks yum,” “Never ever overkill,” and “Ommggggg!!!!! This is crazy!!! We have to get our hands on this [sic].”

And user msbedelia reminded us that these milkshakes are definitely something Kelis wants to be singing about, writing, “This milkshake would bring all the boys to the yard.”

Thank you, Internet, and thank you, Alana Dimou!
