Chicken Treat has come up with a brilliant ploy to get themselves in the news: They have a live chicken tweeting on their behalf.

Her name is Betty and she’s typing her little heart out to entertain the masses. Behold some of her best tweets, accompanied by the hashtag #ChickenTweet.

The Twitterverse is pretty entertained, and Betty may soon have more than just Internet fame — she may have a Guinness World Record. According to Nine News, in order to qualify for the prestigious title of the first tweeting chicken, Betty has to type a four-letter word that is recognised by an English language dictionary.

So far, she’s managed to produce “bum” and a whole lot of random characters.

Whether her goal will be accomplished or not remains to be seen, but she’s definitely causing some chatter.
