Ben & Jerry’s is teaming up with New Belgium Brewing to create a new ice cream flavor and a new beer flavor.
New Belgium is based in Colorado; Ben & Jerry’s, Vermont. Considering that those two states are basically twins, it makes sense that the two companies would team up — especially when you also consider that they’re both relatively large companies that maintain a craft ethos.

The new , the second collab between the two companies, will be Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale. It’s a New Belgium Brown Ale ice cream with fudge brownies and salted caramel swirls. The New Belgium beer will be a Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale. Both products will be available through the holiday season, with the beer appearing on store shelves in October, according to New Belgium.

They sound like a match made in heaven. Any excuse to drink beer while eating ice cream, am I right? And it sounds like you could make a pretty baller ice cream float with both of them too.
A portion of proceeds from sales of both the beer and the ice cream will go toward the group Protect Our Winters, which seeks to protect mountain environments by reducing the effects of climate change.
So basically you’ll be helping the environment while you eat ice cream and get tipsy. Pretty much a win-win.
