Balsamic fig baked Brie recipe

Serves 8

Prep time: 10 minutes | Bake time: 30 minutes | Total time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 (8-ounce) round Brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup fig preserves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic reduction
  • Fresh chopped parsley
  • Crackers, for serving

Directions:

  1. Heat the oven to 375 degrees F, and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the puff pastry dough, and place the Brie in the center.
  3. In a bowl, combine the fig preserves and balsamic reduction, and mix well.
  4. Spoon the mixture on top of the Brie, and fold the pastry dough over the top, completely covering the Brie.
  5. Bake uncovered for 25 – 30 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm with crackers.
