The Sweet Leaf Tea Company has issued a nationwide voluntary recall of six flavors of iced tea sold in 16-ounce glass bottles.
The recall has been issued due to possible glass contamination after the company received four complaints of glass present in the product. The contamination is a result of breakage during the filling process. No injuries have been reported at this time, but potential injury could occur if ingested.

Six flavors of tea are affected by the recall: Raspberry, half and half lemonade tea, original, green tea with citrus, peach and mint and honey. The tea was distributed nationwide between Feb. 27, 2015 and Dec. 6, 2015, and is limited to specific production codes. See the full list of products affected here.
Check the shoulder of the bottle or the shipping case for the manufacturing code to see if your bottles are included in the recall.

All of the affected products are being removed from store shelves. If you have purchased any of the recalled tea, you can contact the Sweet Leaf toll-free number 1-877-832-5323 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. EST for replacement product, or return the product to the store of purchase for a refund.
