These days, with Amazon prime at my fingertips there are very few things that I can actually justify as important enough to go to the mall. Without fail, any time I go to that dreaded place, I end up leaving with a whole lot of built up anger whether it’s from the parking lot insanity to people walking too slow and taking up the entire width of the walkway to kids screaming and throwing tantrums or just customer service incompetence in whatever store I was in.

That said, there are precisely two redeeming things about the mall these days. Auntie Anne’s (is there anything better than that pretzel smell?) and the Orange Julius shop. Gosh, I love those fruity orange sweet drinks. Since we’re smack in the middle of spring and strawberry season, it seemed fitting to give the classic mall drink a strawberry twist and of course, add some booze to the mix too. If only they sold this version in the mall, perhaps those screaming kids and crazy parking lots would be a little more manageable.
